NETFLIX LAUNCHES IN SWEDEN

STOCKHOLM -- 15 October, 2012 -- Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ: NFLX), the world’s largest internet subscription service for films and TV programmes, launches in Sweden today, offering instant access to a broad range of entertainment for the low monthly price of 79kr.

A free, one-month trial of Netflix is available to everyone in Sweden by visiting Netflix.com. An extended trial is available for a limited time to Spotify paying subscribers as part of a launch partnership with the music streaming company.

Netflix members can select and instantly watch a wide selection of Hollywood, local and global TV shows and movies on their TVs via a range of internet-connected devices, including Smart TVs, game consoles, Blu-ray players, tablets and phones. The Netflix experience is in Swedish, including Swedish subtitles for movies and TV shows in other languages.

Among the thousands of hours of great films and TV programmes available at launch are recent big screen hits such as The Expendables, Happy Feet 2, Swedish movies such as Flickan, I taket lyser stjärnorna and Maria Larssons eviga ögonblick, previous full seasons of American programmes such as How I Met Your Mother, Breaking Bad, The Vampire Diaries, Arrested Development, Dexter, Spartacus and The Walking Dead, previous full seasons of Swedish favourites including Bron and 30 grader i februari, full seasons of British TV including The Inbetweeners and Sherlock and a wide-range of documentaries, art house films and classics ranging from Being Elmo, A Clockwork Orange to There Will Be Blood. Kids titles available at launch include Bamse, High School Musical 1 & 2, Fåret Shaun (Shaun the Sheep) and Babar.

In the coming months, more great movies and TV shows will be added, building upon the great entertainment choices available today.
